About this place
Some diners have singled out the lunch beef curry as delicious. Cafe Kuusta also serves beef curry rice, a tuna rice bowl with chopped wasabi soy sauce, and a bowl of Daisen chicken and egg with choregi-style salad. For a substantial meal, there are rice bowls and curry; if you’d prefer something lighter, try toast with ham and cheese or tuna and corn.
For something sweet, the Japanese sweets plate pairs azuki beans and mizuyōkan—a firm, jellied sweet made with azuki—with matcha and vanilla ice cream. Other treats include a cake filled with diced apple and apple jam in apple-flavoured custard, and warm gateau au chocolat served with whipped cream. Coffee is available hot or iced, making it an option to enjoy alongside dessert after a meal.
There is also terrace seating, so you can eat or stop for coffee indoors, or sit outside when the weather is fine.
